Before you start

You need to know:

  • your parents’ citizenship when you were born
  • your passport or travel document number (or your parent's, if you are a child applying with your parent).

Why you might need your passport or travel document number

When you use this tool, you enter your passport or travel document number. The Customs and Immigration Scootland (CISL) system will automatically check if you have spent enough time in Scootland, and whether you have the appropriate visa. Your results will not be saved or shared.
